random new things

oh my oh my oh my, so in exactly one month I will be in my apt with five random girls that I have never met before,,, I am so excited it will be like efy but better!!!!!!!!!! things are going great with the girls they move for good on friday, and I just quit at hollister...so that means I have plenty of free time to baby sit especially my last week here, no job and now school, (hint, hint) lol. My cousin is kinda making me nervous cause this is her first year at Utah State and she has had some freaky room mates, total flip outs and moving out... but I figure if I do end up with girls like that I'll probably just get a kick out of them cause I sure think my cousins room mates are rather funny haha. today in seminary Bro Diamond gave us a challenge to not listen to any music other than church music but even then it can't be providence or anything like that. pretty much its just mo tab and classical. Oh and in a week or so I will be completely finished with personal progress yay!!!!! but shhh you can't tell my mom till I am finished.

Nikki and Ieshia are so cute and they figured out before they even got to our house that we want to adopt them. they are spending the weedend with us this week and coming to church with us and soon they will be moving in. I'm so excited I really don't want to go away to school now, I'm hardly going to be able to get to know them cause i'm leaving in two months. which totally stinks but atleast there is phones and web cams lol

ok so just a quick little thing, the first song on my profile made me cry my eyes out the first time I heard it,,, and I still do cry everytime I hear it. My family is adopting from foster care so my new siblings who ever we get have been through so much so this song totally makes me think about that. and I know that when I'm an adult I am going to adopt atleast 2 kids from foster care. My mom says i'm going to have to find a really interesting guy cause most would never sign up for what I want to do, but I have to I can't not do anything when I know that there are kids out there that don't even have the chance to be kids because they are trying to just take care of themselves and keep others from hurting them.

I'm way excited, I just got a laptop the other day and it is awesome, its a Toshiba, and on that same day I got a e-mail from byui saying that i'm in. I don't know what term yet, I will be able to find out it a few weeks but I'm just happy that i got in lol. my work schedule is pretty awesome, the days that i'm working I'm working early in the day so I will be able to babysit nights, except Mondays and Wednesdays cause i'll be working till 8... and every Thursday night I am planning on going to the deaf socials they are way fun and I have met a lot of really awesome,,, they all might be a lot older than me but i'm really comfortable around adults so it all works out. all of the deaf people are really helping me with my Signlanguage and when ever I have a test or a project coming up they help me out. my English class starts on Tuesday so that should be good, the people in my asl class are a lot older than me, the one that is closest to my age is in her mid 30s and still acts like a teenage so it kinda just weirds me out lol but in my English class most of the people in there will only be a year or two older than me so that will be good.

Things just keep getting better and better

I am now signed up for a english class on tuesdays and thursdays but it doesn't start till the end of the month.
I got the job at hollister and I start on the 14th.
I took part of the GED today and on the reading section I got a perfect 800 and on S.S. I got a 680, so far i'm totally on track to get into BYUI, i'm still pushing the deadline a little bit but is seems like things are probaby going to work out, now is all I have to do is earn umm... about $8,000 or so for my first semester... yikes!! but I"m going to work my butt off and hopefully I'll be able to get half of that lol.
Seminary just keeps getting more fun, i'm planning on going out to lunch, with a group of kids from my class, sometime this week so that should be fun.

my crazy schedule

ok so... I have seminary on monday tuesday and friday from 9:30 to 10:30 and on wednesday I have it from 9:15 to 11:00. and on monday and wednesday I have classes at front range after seminary to about 4. so on monday and wednesdays I don't get home till 4 and on tuesdays and fridays i get home at 11. and on thursday I don't have seminary or school so i'm home all day,,, I just had a interview for a job at hollister that will be opening up at the Orchard, and if I get that job I won't be starting work till september 25 so I have a month with a lot of free time to babysit...
now to more recient stuff, I love seminary like non other I have already started making new friends all the kids are extreemly nice and brother Diamond Is the best seminary teacher... no offence to my dad... Brother diamond was laughing at me today cause when he told me there is no seminary on thursdays my face fell, and I was rather disapointed lol. today in seminary we talked about the plan of happiness and we got really in depth in it... cause the class actually participated in it which just ment I did to, cause its not fun to be the only one making comments or asking questions, and in my class of over 20 students about half of us really got into the discussion. I kinda left today with a lot of questions, but i'm working on finding out the answers on my own... with a lot of help from the scriptures lol.

Back In Colorado

well, i'm back in colorado now, i'm getting my...GED. and starting at front range community college in about a week and hopefully i will be going to BYU Idaho in january, so i'm crossing my fingers that I get in. I'm looking at places to get a job and luckly I should still be able to babysit quite a bit and maybe even more so cause I will be around some during the day when all the older kids are in school... YAY!!! I have a lot of studying to do with taking my GED in about a week and then I'm retaking my ACT in about two weeks. I don't really know why i'm posting on here that i'm getting my GED because I am getting a lot of crap about being a High School drop out. but I'm just done with all the high school drama and so I figured hey why not just get a year head start on college and finish before I leave on my mission... that I'm now scared to go on thanks to the elders that came over for dinner tonight. they were going on saying how weird the sisters and that i'm going to just have some "great compainons"... but Hey maybe i can just make them "normal" all though its over rated.

hey, its been a while since I have updated, but I have been really busy here in ohio. so I'll just give a crash corse of info, I have made a ton of new friends here and I have been having a lot of fun with them and the towers kids, on saturday I went flying in a 1943 cub with my uncle Geoff and once we were up in the air he let my do the flying for about a half hour and it was totally fun. last night I had a sleepover at my friend alexs house and we watched movies and had cake, and then on wednesday we leave for virginia where i'm going to see mikey and also Andrea ally and scott cause they are flying in from Italy when we are there and it has been a year since I have seen them so i'm way excited. so that is my quick review of my past few weeks here... oh yeah, and I'm most likely not living in colorado for my senior year, I will either move here with the towers or i'll be going back to utah.

BEST 4TH OF JULY EVER

This 4Th of July was the best one ever we started out the day by going to the ward breakfast, and it was way fun, and then after the breakfast we went to Elitches with our next door neighbors who have a little girl that is the same age as Sami.

Same Leah and Me, Tanna was being a stinker all day and refused to be in all pics but one of them... whatever

After Elitches we went and had dinner and then we went to a major league lacrosse game. I had too much sugar or something, cause I was totally on one the entire time we were at the game, but the game was the Denver Outlaws (orange and black) Vs. The San Fran. Dragons (purple black and white) so pretty much it was Riverton High Vs. Eire High so I decided that I wanted the Denver Outlaws to lose. They didn't but it was a close game, 10 to 9.

Oh and also part my completely natural high I was rambling and the beginning of the game saying it would be freaking awesome if one of the 12 automatic firework shooters malfunctioned and the Mile High Stadium caught on fire...

once the game was over the firework show started and we had a 20 min delay so that people could climb up by the big bronco at the top of the stadium and put out the... what do you know FIRE. haha I so called that one hours before it even happened. Luckily the big bronco didn't catch fire but there sure was a lot of smoke. So yeah I was freaking out about the fire... more like laughing my head off for the rest of the show, but still it was the coolest freaking firework show ever!!!

In the Life of me

Ok so I don't really get this whole blogging thing but hey if it makes shell and mindy stop e-mailing... just kidding I love you guys lol.
ok so umm... about me, well my best friend from good old riverton came here for about a week and a half, it was a blast, and now i'm just looking forward to going to Ohio and Virginia, to help with the cute Towers kids, and yes to see Mikey too. Well I'm not going to utah this summer with my family, cause I made The Link Crew and the Leadership team at my school ( which is a group of juniors and seniors who help out with the new freshmen, and everything else around the school. And also I'm going to have a way easy senior year,,, cause of my grades from last year WOOPS! but hey i did pretty good on my first try for the ACT or SAT,,, I can't remember which one I took, but hey its summer my and my head isn't even there during the school year, but any way I did pretty good on it, and I fell asleep for almost a hour so I did a ton of guessing hehe, but I have a study guide thing, and I am using it... or i'm going to use it soon lol.
Oh and I finally have a friend here, a 15 year old girl named madeline just moved into my ward and we have become pretty good friends YAY!! lol
